About this watch
Vacheron Constantin Traditionnelle Perpetual Calendar Skeleton Ref. # 43172/000P-9236
Within the rarefied echelon of haute horlogerie's most complex expressions, the platinum-cased Traditionnelle Perpetual Calendar Skeleton stands as Vacheron Constantin's most architecturally transparent interpretation of their quintessential grand complication. The 43172/000P-9236 represents the confluence of two centuries of perpetual calendar mastery with contemporary skeletal artistry, creating a timepiece that commands immediate recognition among serious collectors who appreciate mechanical transparency paired with precious metal gravitas. This particular configuration in platinum elevates the skeleton execution beyond mere visual spectacle, transforming the exposed movement into a study of contrasts between the warm, honeyed tones of the visible bridges and the cool, lustrous case material. The sapphire crystal construction creates an unobstructed viewing experience of one of the most sophisticated calendar mechanisms in modern watchmaking.
