About this watch
Rolex Yellow Gold Day-Date 40 Watch - Fluted Bezel - Silver Diagonal Motif Index Dial - President Bracelet - 228238 sdmip
Powered by Rolex's perpetual, self-winding calibre 3255 movement with its 70-hour power reserve, this yellow gold Day-Date 40 combines the precision of modern Swiss engineering with the unmistakable presence of precious metal construction. The 228238 reference showcases a distinctive silver diagonal motif dial that creates subtle geometric patterns across its surface, while the 40mm yellow gold case strikes the perfect balance between contemporary sizing and classic proportions. Rolex's signature fluted bezel catches light from every angle, complementing the three-link President bracelet that has remained the Day-Date's defining characteristic since the collection's introduction. This unworn example represents the current generation of Rolex's flagship dress watch, complete with sapphire crystal and the brand's most advanced movement technology.
