About this watch
Rolex Steel and Yellow Gold Rolesor Lady-Datejust 28 Watch - Fluted Bezel - Silver Index Dial - Oyster Bracelet - 279173 sio
The two-tone Rolesor construction of reference 279173 represents a significant evolution in the Lady-Datejust lineage, combining Oystersteel foundations with 18k yellow gold accents in the refined 28mm case format introduced in 2016. This unworn example showcases the enduring appeal of the silver index dial configuration, which has remained virtually unchanged since the Datejust's inception in 1945, now rendered in the contemporary proportions that replaced the previous 26mm standard. The fluted bezel in yellow gold provides the signature visual contrast against the steel case middle, while the three-link Oyster bracelet offers the sportier alternative to the traditional Jubilee option typically associated with Datejust models.
