About this watch
Rolex Steel and Yellow Gold Rolesor Datejust 36 Watch - 52 Diamond Bezel - Champagne Jubilee Diamond Dial - Oyster Bracelet - 116243 chjdo
Reference 116243 emerged during the mid-2000s evolution of the Datejust collection, marking a significant refinement in Rolex's approach to two-tone luxury with its sophisticated Rolesor construction combining Oystersteel and 18ct yellow gold. This 36mm configuration represents the classic Datejust proportions that have defined dress watch elegance since 1945, while the champagne Jubilee diamond dial reflects the era's preference for understated precious metal tones. The 52-diamond bezel transforms this reference from a traditional dress watch into a statement piece, elevating the Datejust 116243 beyond its steel-only siblings through carefully graduated brilliant-cut stones that frame the dial's ten diamond hour markers.
