About this watch
Richard Mille Lifestyle Flyback Chronograph Black Ceramic RM 72-01 - BRAND NEW
Ceramic construction paired with Arabic dial markers creates a distinctive contrast that defines this Richard Mille RM72-01, where the brand's signature tonneau case takes on an entirely different character through its matte black finish. The Lifestyle Flyback Chronograph represents Richard Mille's exploration beyond their racing-inspired pieces, targeting a more versatile daily wear profile while maintaining the technical complexity expected from the Le Locle manufacture. This unworn example showcases the RM72-01's unique position within the Richard Mille catalog, bridging the gap between their ultra-light racing chronographs and more traditional luxury sports watches through its ceramic case construction and rubber strap combination.
Key Features & Specifications
- Ceramic Case Construction — Matte black ceramic provides superior scratch resistance and a distinctive non-reflective surface that differs markedly from Richard Mille's typical carbon fiber or titanium cases
- Arabic Numeral Dial Markers — Clear Arabic numerals replace the brand's usual applied indices, enhancing legibility while maintaining the architectural dial layout characteristic of Richard Mille chronographs
- Flyback Chronograph Movement — Instantaneous reset functionality allows the chronograph to be reset and restarted without stopping, a complication favored by pilots and racing professionals
- Tonneau Case Profile — Richard Mille's signature barrel-shaped case architecture, here rendered in ceramic for a more understated presence compared to the brand's transparent sapphire cases
- Rubber Strap Integration — Purpose-built rubber strap designed specifically for the RM72-01's case lugs, providing comfort and durability for active wear
- Lifestyle Collection Heritage — Part of Richard Mille's more accessible Lifestyle range, designed for daily wear while retaining the technical innovation of their flagship pieces
- Unworn Condition — Factory-fresh example with original protective films and documentation, representing the RM72-01 exactly as delivered from Richard Mille
