About this watch
Panerai Submersible Carbotech™ - 47mm - Carbotech - PAM01616
The black dial against Carbotech's distinctive woven carbon fiber pattern creates a stealth aesthetic that defines the Panerai Submersible PAM01616, transforming industrial materials into haute horlogerie. This 47mm case showcases Panerai's proprietary Carbotech composite, where layers of carbon fiber are compressed with a polymer matrix under controlled pressure and temperature, resulting in a material lighter than steel yet exponentially more resistant to external shocks. The unworn condition preserves every detail of Panerai's manufacturing precision, from the sandwich dial construction to the crown guard's angular geometry. Reference PAM01616 represents the Submersible collection's technical evolution, merging the brand's military heritage with contemporary materials science.
